In case you were wondering, yes, there is a difference in cheap diapers versus name brand. I am not advocating Pampers as superior among name brand name diapers, but it really does seem that you get more when you pay a little more. As a new mom, I was trying to save some money (of course!) and thought I would give the Publix brand diapers a try. Big mistake. Usually Publix is a great store brand, but for $7 a package, I can see where they cut their costs. The picture above should give an idea of how much smaller these diapers are in comparison to the same size Pampers. I had two leaks the first day, and they had to go back. Sorry Publix, but leaks are not acceptable.
